Fender Vintage Reissue 57 Precision P Bass 2 Tone Sunburst Tweed Case in Hauppauge, New York
Fender Fullerton Vintage Reissue '57 Precision Bass S/N V013042. The Bass is in excellent condition and includes the original tweed case, Fullerton Booklet and inventory tag. This bass is approx 30 years old and has spent most of it's life in the case as its a one owner bass. The Bass is incredibly clean for it's age however the original owner did make a few changes which I will outline and have included pictures. The original pickups & electronics were once replaced by active pickups which required a minor route for a battery, These pickups & electronics have now been replaced with Fender 2012 Custom Shop pickups, pots and wiring from a brand new 2012 Fender P Bass. These pickups have great tone and only available from the custom shop.
The bass has a couple minor dings but as its been in the case for many years no fret wear or other damage of any kind. The Truss rod adjustment turns very nicely and chrome tuners and hardware are exceptional. This bass plays like butter and weighs in at 8lbs 4oz on a bathroom scale.
